Join the Victim Rights Law Center and Women's Bar Association for a lively discussion and training on lesser-utilized but powerful forms of advocacy for immigrant survivors of sexual and domestic violence in these uncertain times.
How can we use habeas petitions to protect survivors from detention, transfer, and/or removal?  What are family preparedness plans and how can they be best used to help immigrant survivors facing separation from their families? What are best practices for using VAWA confidentiality provisions to defend the privacy, liberty, and safety of survivors in criminal and civil proceedings?
