The Center for Hope and Healing, Inc. (CHH) will host an educational event highlighting the journeys of immigrant and refugee women who leave their country of origin and everything familiar in search of safety, stability, and prosperity in the U.S. These journeys to safety are often dangerous for women making them targets of physical and sexual violence.
CHH offers culturally relevant and trauma-informed bilingual services to immigrant and refugee survivors of sexual abuse. Join us for an informative session where participants will deepen their understanding of the immigration and acculturation process, receive resources, and hear about CHH's culturally relevant strategies of community engagement
This event is free. Please RSVP your attendance to paula@chhinc.org . Light refreshments will be served.
