The holidays can be a challenging time of year for anyone, and sometimes especially for survivors of sexual violence. Busyness, travel, interrupted routines, being around family (or not), being separated from regular support systems; it can all add up. In the midst of all this, you—survivors, significant others, and advocates—may find it challenging to take care of yourself.
So let’s take a minute (or a couple hours) to nourish ourselves! This self-care workshop is an opportunity to meet other survivors and community members involved in the movement to end sexual violence and support survivors—while also learning skills to be your best self. A few members of our Survivors Speakers Bureau will join us to share their stories and thoughts about self-care. We’ll also practice some self-care through a crafting activity!
This event requires an RSVP (scroll to the bottom of the page).
