Portuguese White Ribbon Day Proclamation Event

The Massachusetts Alliance of Portuguese Speakers (MAPS) Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services Program is planning a special White Ribbon Day Campaign event on Thursday, March 8th at its Lowell Office (11 Mill St.) from 6:30-8:30 PM. This event marks International Women's Day as well.

There will be a short introduction about the WRD campaign and men will take the pledge to end violence against women. They will also be able to enroll in a soccer tournament being planned by MAPS later this year, and the soccer players will be there to take the pledge.
