**this is a repeat of the JDI/JGCC training presented in December 2010**

This workshop will introduce and enhance knowledge about domestic violence homicide research and high risk assessment and related practice of advocates working with all survivors in a domestic violence/or sexual assault setting. The workshop will explore strategies for supportive practices for advocates working high risk cases, and integration of high risk knowledge

This workshop is NOT about developing high risk teams.

This workshop is open to dv/sa program advocates only. Please do not forward this training announcement to non-dv/sa programs or advocates.

Lunch will not be provided; participants will be able to get lunch on their own at or near the training site.

Continuing Education credit is provided by Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES), www.CommonwealthSeminars.com
CES, provider  #1117 is approved as a provider for continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards,  400 South Ridge Parkway , Suite B, Culpeper , VA 22701 . www.aswb.org. ASWB Approval Period through October 5, 2012. Social Workers earn four hours credit by completing this program.

Cost of Social Work CEUs will be $25 and will be paid for on a separate invoice. You must indicate on registration that you will be seeking CEUs.
