Jane Doe Inc. is proud to present the 2013 Visionary Voice Award to Becky Lockwood

 Becky Lockwood is a respected and recognized leader among her peers, in her community, and across the state in the area of sexual violence intervention and prevention.  As the Associate Director of the Center for Women in Community, Becky oversees the daily operations of the rape crisis center for Hampshire County and the five college community and is an active member of the coalition.

JDI nominated Becky for the Visionary Voice Award through the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC), in conjunction with Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) each April, to recognize the creativity and hard work of individuals around the country who have demonstrated outstanding work to end sexual violence. 

Each year, state, territory, and tribal coalitions select an outstanding individual to nominate for the awards. Nominees may be partners from a local community or other outstanding individuals that have worked to end sexual violence.

Becky was chosen as one of 23 recipients this year.  We hope you can join us for this celebration.
