Integrating Homicide Risk Assessment Knowledge and Practice
Presented by Jane Doe Inc. and Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center

**This event is similar to JDI/JGCC trainings presented in September 2011 in Marlborough, June 2012 in Northampton, May 2013 in Quincy**

This workshop will introduce and enhance knowledge about domestic violence homicide research, high risk assessment and related practice.  It is designed for advocates working directly with sexual and domestic violence victims and survivors, to inform participants about risk and protective factors around homicide and to better prepare them to facilitate appropriate responses. There will also be specific focus on additional risk factors in LGBQ/T and immigrant communities.

  • This workshop is geared toward sexual and domestic violence program advocates with statutory (20k or 20j) privilege. Other advocates working directly with sexual and domestic violence are welcome.
  • This workshop will not focus on developing high risk teams.
Lunch will not be provided; participants may bring their own lunch or purchase lunch in the cafeteria at the training location.

Cost of this training:

There is no cost for this training. However, space will be limited so please only register if you plan to attend. If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible to allow for other attendees to participate.
